- Glendale CA, apartment, commute, food
Sorry for ignoring the blog. It's weird to say, but I have been pretty damn busy as of late. My apartment is feeling more and more like home as the days go bye. Nearly everyday, I learn something new about cooking, cleaning, general maintenance, etc. It's been great living in a different city and experiencing city life. I don't eat out nearly as much as I like to, but maybe that is because I enjoy cooking and learning how to cook. There are a plethora of restaurants here in Glendale, and neighboring cities that are begging to be tried.
The thing that I enjoy the most about moving out is simply living close to work. My commute is 2.8 miles as opposed to 35 miles (before I moved out).

- commute, traffic
My commute no longer consists of a 10 minute drive or a 40 minute skateboard ride up the street. I have traded in that awesome commute for an hour long commute that consists of me driving through Korea Town and La Cienaga.
There are a couple of things that I have learned so far with my commute.
- Even though my commute was like 2 miles in the heart of Glendale, I still come across more crappy drives in those 2 miles commute than I do in my hour long commute through the heart of LA.
- You think your streets are ridden with potholes and neglected by CalTrans, try driving through my commute.
- There are so many people selling t-shirts, food, dolls, etc out of the trunk of the car and apparently that is ok.
- There are so many people selling t-shirts, food, dolls, etc out of the trunk of the car and apparently that is ok to the police.
- Speaking of police, there so many freaking police in LA, I am surprised anyone would do anything stupid.
- My commute takes me about an hour regarldess of the worst traffic or no traffic at all.
