I may or may not need a roomba and a cat in the very near future
I may or may not need a roomba and a cat in the very near future
One day after a long day of work, I walk from the apartment parking lot to my apartment when this innocent black cat is on the steps of my apartment complex. I get on a knee and I introduce myself to the cat. She walks over to my hands and allows me to pet her. She looks small and clean, she looks like an indoor cat. I checked to see if she had tags of any sorts of which she did not. So I start to walk inside my apartment complex when the cat follows my foot steps. I end up walking into my apartment with a cute black cat following me.
Inside my apartment, I gave her a bowl of water of which she drank plenty. I assumed she was hungry as well. So I run over to Denise's house where she gives me a small bag of cat food for the night. Seeing as how she didn't have a tag and seemed a bit out of place to be outside, I kept her inside the apartment in the evening.
That evening, the cat was full of curiosity, playfulness and compassion. Needless to say I fell in love with the cat for the short time she was in my care. So in the morning, I ended up bringing her to the Pasadena Humane Society in hopes that the original owner would come and claim her. At the end of the 5 day waiting period, I took her home with me. When I took her home, the humane society said to me that the cat probably has had a litter or two already.
It has been nearly a month since I took her home and I cherish every moment with her. Denise made a joke today about Pam saying she was a cat ho and called her Octo Cat. Needless to say, we both had a good laugh at Pam's expense

As I am sure everyone else has, I have a favorite place to sit when I watch TV / play my video games. Some people like to sit, I like to lay down and lounge when I do said activities. My couch has the perfect view of everything, pillows to support my back and my head and enough space for my legs just in case a nap happens to catch me.
The problem is that my cat and I have the same exact favorite seat in the apartment. Whenever I get up off the couch to relieve myself of bodily fluids or replenish my body with sustenance I have to deal with Pam, my cat, who swoops in very Ninja-like to steal my seat. Coming back to my seat, I now have to deal with whether or not I want one of the inferior seats or be a jack ass and move a seemingly innocent cat who just wants to lounge back as much as I do. There is always a power struggle for the perfect seat and I am unsure how far the cat will go to secure the seat. For anyone that has cat(s), they know that they aren't dealing with simpletons, they are dealing maniacal crazed beasts that are capable of far worse than imaginations can conjure.
